Kindergarten - 1st Day of School

KINDERGARTEN -1ST DAY OF SCHOOL
It's a day most moms dread and when it comes, they can't believe they are living it! It seems like yesterday that the boys were born and our whole world changed as we knew it..... but so much for the best and it keeps getting better and better each year!

Parker just finished eating his breakfast and it is time to start getting dressed, teeth brushed and off to our new adventure! Bearbie can't go with you!

Preston just finished his breakfast and he is all smiles. I think he was very excited to start school today..... we had been counting down the days and it is finally here!

Preston excited.... Parker, not so sure what he is thinking.... I think he was just really tired!
Okay, Parker really looks so sad in this picture, but believe me, I think he is tired or maybe scared and just doesn't want to say so, but mom had a watchful eye the whole time.

Heading out the door for the first time to go to school.......

Those are some big backpacks.... Dad picked them out.... pretty cool, huh????

Yep, Preston is so excited, you can just see it all over his face!
Walking up to the school to find out what this is all about!

A pose in front of the school....

Walking down the hall to Parker's class... but we don't know it yet. You had to find their name on the list that was posted outside the room.

Parker in his class room. His teacher is Mrs. Lowry and she is very nice.... he likes her too.Preston in his classroom. His teacher is Mrs. Anderson and she is very nice. He really likes her a lot too....

This picture is so sad looking... he is just taking it all in. I didn't want to walk away, but I knew he would be fine. He didn't cry though.

We both took the day off to spend some time together and went to eat at Ihop and then off for some shopping and just down time to visit and talk about the day! It was an amazing first day of school that I will treausre forever!

"We will not hide these truths from our children... so the next generation might know them...and they in turn will teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting His glorious miralces and obeying His commands." Psalm 78-1-8

Dear God: May these truths be carried out as we continue to raise our little boys and continue a legacy of service and devotion to You! Amen
